Now farmers can pay instalments of Metal Motors’ agri vehicles at bKash agent points

Farmers can now pay instalments for mechanised agricultural vehicles purchased from Metal Motors at nearby bKash agent points.

To make field‑level instalment collection easier and more secure, bKash’s Agent‑to‑Merchant (A2M) Cash Collection Solution will be used by the country’s leading agricultural machinery distributor and manufacturer. In this regard, an agreement has recently been signed between the organisations, said a press release.

Under this arrangement, farmers across the country will be able to pay instalments for mechanised agricultural vehicles from nearby bKash agent points, which will directly be credited to Metal Motors’ account as electronic money (e‑money). This will significantly reduce financial risk for stakeholders at the field level and make the entire transaction process more time and cost-efficient.

The agreement signing ceremony took place recently at Metal Motors Limited’s head office, where senior officials of both organisations were present. From Metal Motors - Sadid Jamil, Managing Director; Sarah Jamil and Saad Jamil, Directors; Md. Mizanur Rahman, CEO; and from bKash - Ali Ahmmed, Chief Commercial Officer; Masrur Chowdhury, Head of Business Sales; Md Somel Reza Khan, General Manager of the Business Sales Department, were present at the event.

Notably, by using bKash’s ‘Cash Collection Solution’, leading companies across various sectors - including telecom, cement, beverages, lifestyle, food, and pharmaceuticals - have already made their field‑level financial management more seamless, transparent, and secure. Such services are also contributing to strengthening Bangladesh’s digital transaction ecosystem, thereby enhancing overall economic efficiency and momentum.
