Admission tests to seven colleges on Aug 22-23

The admission tests to proposed Dhaka Central University with capital Dhaka's seven colleges will take place on August 22 and 23.

Prior to this, a circular will be published seeking application online for the tests for 2024-25 academic session.

The dates of the entry tests have been finalised in a meeting on admission on Thursday afternoon, July 24, said prof AKM Ilyas Hossain, interim administrator of the seven colleges and principal of Dhaka College.

The Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) will assist in technical issues to hold the exams, prof Ilyas said.

The committee formed for the proposed university's admission tests wiil hold another meeting on the next Saturday, July 26, and after that, a circular will be published, he hoped.

Earlier on July 9, the Directorate Of Secondary and Higher Education under the Ministry of Education approved the admission activities to proposed Dhaka Central University with seven colleges - Dhaka College, Iden College, Begum Badrunnesa Govt College, Govt Bangla College, Kabi Nazrul Govt College, Govt Titumir College and Govt Shaheed Suhrawardy College.Admission tests to seven colleges on Aug 22-23
