ATEO written test postponed

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the written test for the Assistant Upazila/Thana Education Officer (ATEO) post under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

The exam, scheduled for January 7, 2026, has been suspended due to a High Court ban, stated a PSC notice on Monday, December 29.

A new date and time for the test will subsequently be published on the Commission website and national dailies, the notice said.

The application process to recruit 159 Assistant Upazila/Thana Education Officers began on June 26, 2023; however, the process was suspended on July 30, a day before the deadline.

In 2024, a corrected notice was published seeking applications for the post.

The application process commenced on July 1, and the deadline was July 25 of the the year, which was extended until August 22 of the same year.
