An Air India flight crashed near Ahmedabad Airport in Gujarat, India, on Thursday, with initial reports indicating that approximately 142 passengers were on board.
The incident is believed to have occurred during take-off for a scheduled flight to London. Thick smoke was seen rising from the Dharpur area, near Meghaninagar.
The fire brigade rushed to the scene, and emergency response teams are being mobilised.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash.
