Viqarunnisa teacher killed in Bailey Road fire

A female teacher of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College was killed in a building fire in the capital Dhaka's Bailey Road area that left 46 people dead.

The victim, Shahnaz Parvin, taught English in the institution.

One youth Rifat whose younger sister studies at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College identified Shahnaz Parvin's body at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 4:30 am on Friday.

Earlier on Thursday night, the deadly fire broke out at Green Cozy Cottage building in Bailey Road area.
