UN chief Guterres begins four-day visit to Dhaka

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres arrived in Dhaka on Thursday, March 13, for a four-day visit. 

He was received by Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.  

During his stay, Guterres will meet with Bangladesh’s top leaders to discuss critical issues, including the Rohingya crisis, climate change mitigation, progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, and strengthening UN-Bangladesh cooperation.
