The Local Government Reform Commission formally submitted its final report to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday afternoon.
The report was handed over at the State Guest House Jamuna by the commission’s chair, Professor Tofail Ahmed, along with other commission members.
Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, confirmed the development.
A press briefing on the contents and recommendations of the final report will be held at 6:30 PM today at the Foreign Service Academy on Bailey Road in the capital.
