Fire erupts in Mirpur slum, 7 fire units respond

A fire broke out in Shyamal Palli slum in Dhaka's Mirpur Section 13 on Sunday, May 18, at 7:55 pm.
Seven Fire Service units are actively working to control the blaze, according to Fire Service Control Room Officer Md Anwarul Islam.
Islam reported that the first Fire Service unit arrived by 8:10 pm and began operations.
Three units from Mirpur Fire Station, supported by two units from Kurmitola Fire Station and two from Pallabi Fire Station, are deployed, with two units already on-site.
The cause of the fire and details on casualties or damage remain unknown at this time.
