Asif Mahmud calls urgent press conference Wednesday

Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, adviser to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives, has called an urgent press conference for 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10.

The press conference will be held in the Local Government Division's conference room at the Bangladesh Secretariat.

This information was shared in a programme of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives on Tuesday evening, December 9.

At the press conference, Asif Mahmud, who is also adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will speak about contemporary issues, the programme said.

Recently, there has been discussion about from which party he will contest in the national elections, and his resignation as an adviser before announcing his candidacy.

He might speak in this regard at the press conference, a source in his office said.
