397 dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hours
A total of 397 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, while no deaths were reported during the same period, according to the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Among the newly admitted patients, 52 were from Barishal Division (outside city corporations), 59 from Chattogram Division, 53 from Dhaka Division, 105 from Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 75 from Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), 14 from Khulna Division, 18 from Mymensingh Division, 19 from Rajshahi Division, and 2 from Sylhet Division (all outside city corporations).
During the same period, 413 dengue patients were discharged, bringing the total recoveries this year to 98,282.
So far in 2025, Bangladesh has recorded 404 dengue-related deaths. For comparison, in 2024, the country reported 101,214 dengue cases and 575 deaths.
