Bangladeshi woman killed in Israeli attack in Lebanon
A Bangladeshi woman has been killed in an Israeli attack in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The expatriate woman, Dipali, was killed in the attack on Wednesday, April 8, when she was staying with the family of her Kafeel (employer), the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut said in a Facebook post on Friday, April 10.
Dipali was the daughter of Sheikh Mofazzal from Char Shalepur in Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur.
Describing her as a 'remittance warrior', the embassy expressed deep condolences at her death and sympathy to the bereaved family.
According to initial information received from the kafeel's neighbours, Dipali's employer and several members of his family lost their lives in the attack, the mission stated.
As per local police sources, Dipali's body has been kept at Rafik Hariri Hospital, the Bangladesh Embassy said, adding that it is in contact to inquire about the status of the body.
