BSF guns down Bangladeshi in Kurigram

A Bangladeshi youth was gunned down by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Rowmari border in Kurigram early Sunday.

Apart from another youth named Jakir Hosen, 25, were also injured in this incident.

The deceased was identified as Baharul Islam, 30, son of Boktar Hosen, of Koraibari village under Rowmari upazila in the district.

Hearing the incident, members of Bangladesh Border Guard rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body.

Abdul Aziz, BGB commander of Rowmari, said, slain Baharul was a member of smuggling group. He came under attack whe he crossed the border. We informed this matter to Rowmari Police Station.
