Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus has begun a high-stakes meeting with a four-member delegation from the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

The meeting is being held Jamuna, the official residence of the interim government’s leader.

The team comprises senior BNP standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, and Salahuddin Ahmed.

The meeting, set against a backdrop of escalating political tensions, is expected to address critical issues, including the interim government’s election roadmap and reform agenda, as the BNP pushes for clarity and stability.

The meeting follows Advisory Council’s decision to engage with political parties to clarify its stance and foster cooperation amid the current political scenario.
