Polls schedule any day this week: EC Sanaullah

The schedule for the 13th parliamentary elections will be announced on any day of this week, said Election Commissioner Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah.

“The schedule will be announced at any time this week, and ballot papers will be sent to the polling stations at night before the voting day,” he said after the 10th meeting of the Election Commission on Sunday, December 7.

Before unveiling the schedule, the Commission will meet the President, he stated.

The Commission has almost completed its preparations ahead of the national elections and referendum on the same day and is implementing a detailed work plan to make the elections a success, EC Sanaullah added.

On August 28, the EC announced the roadmap for the 13th general election, focusing on 24 key activities, including the demarcation of constituencies, the voter list finalisation, and the registration of political parties with the commission.
