Nahid, Charmonai Pir to address nation this evening

Ahead of the 13th parliamentary elections, National Citizen Party (NCP) convener and Dhaka-11 constituency candidate Md Nahid Islam will address the nation this evening.

According to the party’s press wing, Nahid’s speech will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television (BTV) at 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 8.

Earlier in the evening, Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, popularly known as the Charmonai Pir, is expected to deliver a recorded address at 6:00 pm, which will also be aired on BTV.

Meanwhile, Maulana Mamunul Haque, amir of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish, is scheduled to address the nation on Monday, February 9. His speech, to be broadcast on BTV, will focus on the upcoming parliamentary elections and the referendum.
