T20I series: 1st batch of Bangladesh cricketers reaches Lahore
A 10-member contingent of the Bangladesh cricket team arrived in Lahore on Sunday as part of the first phase of their tour to Pakistan for the upcoming T20I series.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the arriving group comprises both players and support staff. Among the players who have landed in Lahore are pacer Hasan Mahmud, left-arm spinner Mohammad Tanveer Islam, all-rounder Parvez Hossain Emon, and right-arm fast bowler Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
The names of the support staff members accompanying the squad were not immediately disclosed.
The remaining members of the Bangladesh squad are expected to arrive in Lahore on Monday ahead of the commencement of the three-match T20 International series.
Pakistan and Bangladesh are set to face off in the first T20I on May 28 at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The second match is scheduled for May 30, followed by the third and final fixture on June 1, all to be held at the same venue.
