Bangladesh announce unchanged squad for New Zealand ODIs

The Bangladesh Cricket Board’s selection panel, led by Habibul Bashar Suman, has announced a 15-member squad for the first two One Day Internationals (ODIs) against New Zealand, retaining the same lineup from the previous series.

This is the first squad announced under the new selection committee, and no changes have been made to the team that recently faced Pakistan. Afif Hossain has once again been included, while several players who did not feature in the last series have also retained their places.

Soumya Sarkar, Shariful Islam, Mahidul Islam Ankon, and Tanvir Islam remain in the squad despite limited or no game time in the previous series, indicating continuity in the team structure.

New Zealand are scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on April 13. The ODI series will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, with the first match on April 17 and the second on April 19 at the same venue.
