Fuel prices increased by Tk 1 per litre

The government has raised the prices of all four types of gasoline by Tk 1 per litre. The new prices took effect at 12:01 am on Saturday.

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued a gazette notification announcing the price increase on Friday.

Under the new pricing structure, diesel and kerosene will now cost Tk 105 per litre, up from Tk 104. Octane will be priced at Tk 126 per litre, up from Tk 125, while petrol will now cost Tk 122 per litre, up from Tk 121.

The price adjustments are based on the automated pricing formula, reflecting changes in global market prices, according to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.

Earlier, on January 1, the government had reduced the price of diesel and kerosene by Tk 1 per litre.
