Gold prices fall by Tk 979 per bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association (BAJUS) has lowered the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 979 to Tk 2,26,806 per bhori (11.664 grams).
Additionally, 21-carat gold decreased to Tk 2,16,484 per bhori, 18-carat to Tk 1,85,574, and gold of the traditional method to Tk 1,54,665, respectively.
The prices have been reduced following a decrease in the prices of pure gold in the local market, BAJUS said in a statement on Thursday, January 8.
The new prices will take effect from Friday, January 9.
