RUCSU elections on September 15

Elections to the Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU) will be held on September 15.

RUCSU Election Commissioner Professor Enamul Haque announced the election schedule at the RU Senate Building at 3:30pm on Monday, July 28.

According to the announcement, the code of conduct will be published on July 31, the draft voter list on August 6, objections to the voter list will be received and resolved on August 7 and 10-12, and the final voter list will be published on August 14.

Nomination papers will be distributed on August 17-19, nomination papers will be submitted on August 21 and 24-25, nomination papers will be scrutinised on August 27-28, the preliminary list of candidates will be published on August 31, last date for nomination papers withdrawal is September 2, the final list of candidates will be published on September 4, and voting will be held on September 15.

RUCSU Treasurer Professor Dr Setaur Rahman, Election Commissioner and syndicate member Professor Dr Nizam Uddin and other election commissioners and other senior officials were present at the briefing.
