46th BCS viva exam postponed

The 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) oral examination scheduled for December 31 and January 1 has been postponed following the demise of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

The Public Service Commission (PSC) issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday, December 30, notifying that the revised schedule for the viva voce would be announced later.

Khaleda Zia passed away at 6:00 am today while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.

Following her death, the interim government has declared three days of state mourning from Wednesday to Friday. In addition, Wednesday (December 31) will be observed as a public holiday across the country.
