1,308 arrested in 'Operation Devil Hunt'

The joint forces have, so far, arrested 1,308 individuals amid the nationwide ‘Operation Devil Hunt’.
They were apprehended from Saturday night (February 8) to Sunday (February 9) during the operation, Inamul Haque Sagar, AIG (Media and PR) of the Police Headquarters, said this evening.
On Saturday, the government announced ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ across the country, including Gazipur, starting yesterday, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice.
The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on yesterday, following a terrorist attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on Friday night, February 7.
