Five people were killed as a pickup van rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Rangamati’s Kaukhali on Saturday morning, April 26.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
The officer-in-charge of Kaukhali police station, Md Saiful Islam Shohag, said they received the reports of five individuals' deaths in a collision between a pickup van and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chairman Para area on the Rangamati-Chattogram road around 10:15am.
They are going to the spot and more details will be provided later, he said.
