Man shot dead in Badda

A man was shot dead by miscreants at Middle Badda in Dhaka in the early hours of Wednesday, November 12.
The dead was identified as Mamun Shikder, 39, from Algi village under Dumki police station in Patuakhali.
Locals said a few miscreants shot Mamun in a house at Commissioner Goli and fled on a motorcycle, leaving him dead on the spot.
Badda police station's officer-in-charge, Saiful Islam, confirmed the matter this afternoon.
It was learned that Mamun was a labourer and he did not reside in the house where he was shot, the OC said, adding that the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.
