JCD relieves DU leader Hamim over discipline breach

The Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has temporarily relieved Sheikh Tanvir Bari Hamim, convener of the Kabi Jasimuddin Hall unit at Dhaka University, from his organisational duties.
The decision was announced in a press release signed by the organisation’s Office Secretary, Jahangir Alam, on Wednesday night (March 4).
According to the release, the central council of the JCD decided to relieve Hamim from his post over violations of organisational discipline. The decision was approved by JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir.
